Bumblebee Jasper with Hammer Silver Clasp
£385.00Price
Fabulous and rare Bumblebee Jasper tumbled flat-backed stones with sterling silver spacers and a Sterling silver decorative ring and hook clasp, worn on the side.
The stones are graduated in size with the smaller ones around the back of the neck and the larger ones at the front.
Bumblebee Jasper is found exclusively at the Papandayan Volcano in West Java, Indonesia. It was discovered in the 1990s near active hot vents and has not been found anywhere else on Earth. The unique swirling colours of the mineral, which resemble a bumblebee, are caused by various chemical inclusions like sulfur, calcium, and manganese oxides.
The necklace measures 58 cm in length and the Sterling silver is hallmarked.
